Would the colour of the balloon affect the rate of deflation?

Like, you know the colour black absorbs heat, would a black balloon absorb more heat and shrink faster or something???

Maybe I could include that in my experiment.....

OK, so I've made the decision to do the whole "what conditions keep a balloon maximally inflated for the longest time" experiment.

The independent variable would be the location of the balloon.

The dependent variable would be the length of time that it takes to deflate.

The controlled variable would be the temperature the balloon is in and the size of the balloon.

at first, i considered the idea of an experiment where i can see which nail polish lasts the longest, but then i realised i don't have THAT MUCH nail polish to experiment on.... so i kept brainstorming.

i looked through the "project ideas" that ms zhang sent and one particular idea appealed to me:

the conditions that keep a balloon inflated for the longest period of time.

i still have to think a bit about the variables and all that but for now, this is what i've got
